This article introduces an innovative room-temperature magnetometer, based on yttrium-iron garnet film and optical signal registration. The sensor demonstrates high sensitivity and is feasible for quantitative detection of magnetic nano- and submicron particles in biological fluids and tissues, as validated through successful in vitro and in vivo detection of remanent magnetization of magnetic nanoparticles.
